Asanas are third limb of the Astanga Yoga system of practice to attain the Supreme. Sri Patanjali is the one who propounded this system of Yoga. Though the process of Astanga Yoga to connect to Lord Krishna is very difficult to practice in this age of Kali but asanas and pranayamas are beneficial in keeping good physical and mental health.

Around 21 different types of asanas were taught in the course that could help keep fit to practice Krishna consciousness. Every day in the morning around half hour was allotted to practice the asanas. Interestingly, the children were able to do many asanas with much less effort.
