On the occasion of inaugurating one of the Indian Restaurants and Guest Houses in Siem Reap, we performed Kirtan together with about 100 Indians who live in Siem Reap.

The owner of the guest house, Mr. Sing, has two restaurants and also has a Farm located about 1 hour from Siem Reap town. He is taking care of 30 cows and calves on 10 hectares of land and he also trains those local cows to be milked.

At the Program, Kirtiraja Prabhu (a Hare Krishna monk from South India)  gave some speech about the importance of cows, and how they related to Cambodian Culture and Vedic Culture, after that we performed Kirtan and danced together. In the end, they served very nice Persadam; Puri, Sabji, Sweet kheer, and Gulab Jamoon.

As we know from various Vedic scriptures, the cow is very important for human life and cow is considered to be the mother of the universe; some reverences about cow can be found out on Sri Surabhi app, please download it on your mobile.
