OM Sri Surabhi campaign announces the appointment of three State Coordinators namely:

  1. HG Vasudama Das – Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.

 

  1. HG Shyamananda Das – Maharashtra.

 

  1. Sriman Sreeraj – Karnataka.

 

The formal meeting was held on 30th & 31st of August 2019 at Kamyavan farm project, Telangana India.

 

The meeting was Chaired by HH Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaj , Minister IDVM-India. The two National Directors of OM Sri Surabhi Campaign HG Rajaram prabhu & HG Sriram prabhu and newly appointed three State Coordinators were present in the meeting.

 

HH Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaj began discussion with the Review of objectives and goals of Sri Surabhi Campaign & Guidelines. Maharaj then read out the role and responsibilities of the State Coordinators.

 

Sriman Kautilya who coordinated the cattle festival (Laguda Pratipat) last year, at Chilkur Village, Telangana dist. requested the OM Sri Surabhi Campaign team members to once again assist to organize the Laguda Pratipat festival this year and thus create awareness about the importance of bulls. This festival is marked by nice decoration of bulls and glorification of Vrishabha dev by the villagers seeking protection of their village and crops.

HG Rajaram prabhu is already working in coordination with Kautilya prabhu on different aspects of organising this festival in the three states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.

 

IDVM – India meeting with Western division council is scheduled to be held in Nov’19 at Ahmedabad. There a 45 minutes presentation is slated to be given to the leaders of the council.

 

Sriman Sreeraj prabhu proposed to the ministry to have a Cow Culture conference at Mangalore and Minister of IDVM – India has agreed to the proposal and also instructed the National Directors HG Sri Ram prabhu and HG Rajaram prabhu to help organize it in November’19 or December’19.

 

About 48 kinds of panchagavya products are being prepared by Sreeraj prabhu at his goshala, Mangalore. He emphasized that every temple must utilize ahimsa cow products for deity services.  He also proposed the Minister, IDVM – India, to evolve as one of the certifying authorities for ahimsa cow products for the temples  and naturally grown fruits and vegetables for the Lordships.

 

During the Cow Culture conference held last year at California, Dr Subramanya Swami who was the Chief guest, promised that he would arrange a National wide Cow Culture conference in India and also invite  the Prime Minister of India to it, if the party won the election. The IDVM-India Minister advised the National Directors of OM Sri Surabhi Campaign to follow up with Dr Subramanya Swami and organize the conference.

 

The shortand long-term goals of OM Sri Surabhi Campaign will be modified according to discussions in the meeting. It will be edited and updated in the IDVM-India ministry website.
