JANUARY 28 – 2024 – GITA NAGARI FARM, TOGO, WEST AFRICA
OM SURABHYAI NAMAH!
Devotees took up various chores at the Base Camp where we are presently located. Daily, a devotee needs to fetch fresh water from the local water supply. Eventually the devotees plan to have their own open well.
The devotees used most of the cow dung collected yesterday for cleaning the floor of the ashram. Today some cow dung was made into dry cow cakes for fuel and some portion used to make incense sticks. The planned work on the fence has been delayed and should start in the days to come.
From Western Canada at Vedic Eco Village in Saranagati, we received some welcomed developments as devotees there plan to build a cowshed and a 6 acres fenced area for the cows to graze. Ramanath prabhu who manages the small estate at Vedic Eco Village, has made a plan and budget for the same that can be accessed at the following link: https://vedicecovillage.ca/project/fencing-and-shelter-cow-grazing.
Devotees is the Province of Quebec, Canada, have been busy cutting logs using a portable saw mill recently acquired. They shared a few photos of their ongoing activities.
