For the two additional wooden pillars, lime is placed in the bottom of the holes where the pillars are placed to prevent termites from eating the wood.
Stoka Krishna continued to paint the tin sheets that will cover the Woodshed. Painting the sheets prevents them from rusting.
Work on the Vidyapitham continued and levelling of the area surrounding the Vidyapitham and mixing of mud for the mud block construction also continued.
Another crew under our neighbour Rameshji worked on digging holes and setting stone pillars for the fence that will separate the Gurukula from the Saura Vana.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container][fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”no” hundred_percent_height=”no” hundred_percent_height_scroll=”no” long-awaited JCB.
The cable person was finally able to complete installing our cable internet connection for the Bhakti Kutir that will now allow for better and more regular communication and coverage. The cable had to be brought from two and a half kilometres away through a somewhat jungle road to make it to the Bhakti Kutir.
The door frames and windows for various structures also arrived which will now allow for the Headmaster Kutir to come up so that within a few days we can put our reciprocal roof, a technique that our two devotees from Jharkhand Gurukula, Subhal and Vijaya, learned when attending the Cob Building Workshops in Uttarakhand two months ago.
And last but not least today the JCB arrived but very late to begin clearing the path for the Saura Vana to start manifesting itself.
To top it all off in the evening after the daily afternoon Srimad-Bhagavatam class we got some unexpected rain that has surely damaged some of our mud blocks not fully covered.[/fusion_text][fusion_images picture_size=”fixed” hover_type=”none” autoplay=”no” columns=”5″ column_spacing=”13″ scroll_items=”” show_nav=”yes” mouse_scroll=”no” border=”yes” lightbox=”no” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=””][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.06-AM-6.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.06-AM-5.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.06-AM-4.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.06-AM-3.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.06-AM-2.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.06-AM-1.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][fusion_image image=”http://www.srisurabhi.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-09-at-1.35.05-AM.jpeg” image_id=”” link=”” linktarget=”_self” alt=”” /][/fusion_images][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
