As a part of educating individuals about cow care, cow protection and land care, OM Sri Surabhi Campaign organised a seminar on “Holistic Farming: A Common Sense Approach to Land and Cow Care” in Kamyavan Farm, Sadashivapet, Hyderabad.
HG Damodar Dulal das, (Minister, ISKCON Cow Protection Ministry- India and National Co-Director of OM Sri Surabhi Campaign) gave an elaborate and scientific presentation on the importance of the cows, covering the below-given aspects:
- Feeding and digestive system of cows
- Understanding of breeding in cows
- Cow pregnancy care and calf care
- Common diseases in cows and their natural remedies
- A healthy nutritious diet of the cow as per region
- Cow in goshala & in the farm
- Surabhi – The Holistic Healer (Soil and Environment)
The seminar was enthusiastically attended by 25 members of different professions like Doctors, Software professionals and farmers. All the attendees participated in the Gopuja and took the Sri Surabhi oath to protect Mother Cow. All of them were eager to learn more about the topics presented in the seminar and took part in the practical demonstrations. The participants also showed a keen interest in watching both the OM Sri Surabhi campaign video and AMSU video screened during the seminar. People appreciated the various activities that are happening under the OM Sri Surabhi Campaign. Participants enjoyed the climate and expressed their interest to have more such programs in future.
