Just returned from our last program in the Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, as we leave for Vijayawada tomorrow morning. The town Machilipatnam is a long-established port that was built during the time of the British who gave the town the name, Machili (Fish) Patnam (Town). On the very last day of our stay in Machilipatnam, we came to know that the village was previously called “Vrindavan Puram”, very interesting. The locals should petition to have the old name reinstated.

When we held a press conference a few days ago, one of the reporters had mentioned that the Krishna District had the largest producer of milk in all of Andhra Pradesh, but unfortunately this was largely due to the use of the toxic chemical, oxytocin, that induces the udders to release all the milk from the milk bag, a totally dangerous and demonic practice. The reporter shared that he had stopped drinking milk from this district due to this malpractice which can cause severe disease, including cancer, by those consuming such artificially-induced milk.

There were over 100 villagers from all ages attending our program this evening with two local leaders speaking at the end of the program in support of ISKCON and our village initiative program.
