On Friday, 10 August 2018, devotees at GNB (Gita Nagari Baru), Lampung made something new for the cows. By great devotion to mother cow, they built fences in the forest. Now we can see these fences in Badhravan Forest, one of the forests in Gita Nagari Baru. These fences are made out of bamboo. Unlike metal or plastic, this material is natural and environment-friendly. With these fences, the cows can graze and play in the forest freely without any rope around their necks. The cowherds also do not have to worry about the safety of their cows.

This fence is inspired by Radha Govinda Goshala Puncak, Bogor. The small field is surrounded by metal fences. Cows can get fresh air and walk around in this area. It is our responsibility to keep the cows happy, because if the cows are happy, Krishna is also happy.

In Vrindavan, Krishna is known as Gopala, Govinda, one who gives pleasure to cows. Krishna and all the gopalas spend most of their time outside with the cows. They play in the forest. The cows eat fresh grass, Krishna and other cowherd boys eat their lunch that Mother Yasoda and their mothers have prepared. In the evening they will go back home together. Krishna always makes sure that all His cows are safe and happy.
