The annual ILS (ISKCON Leadership Sanga) was conducted in Sri Dham Mayapur (04^th – 11^th February 2018). ILS is one of the biggest events in ISKCON as it brings hundreds of ISKCON leaders from all over the world to Mayapur to discuss many important topics for the future of this spiritual movement. Taking advantage of this opportunity, IDVM-India set up a stall to share some information especially to the ISKCON leaders regarding farm activities, cow protection and varnashrama activities in general.

We displayed some photos exhibits from different farm activities such as Nandagram (Baroda), Pancavati (Tamil Nadu), SSKBK (Hebri, Udupi), Talasari (Juhu), Yashodapura Eco Village (Cambodia). We also displayed some organic products from Pancavati farms like chillies, paddy, mung dal, horse gram, beans, tamarind, turmeric, sama rice, and some other products. Haridas Prabhu from Hyderabad sent us natural incense (dhoop) made from cow dung of protected cows. They were packed very attractively and whoever saw them immediately became captured and attracted to it. One of the Chinese devotees purchased 50 boxes; he said: “….this product is very good and purifying, I will bring this to China and put in my restaurant….”

Besides that, we also set up a book table where people got access to our varnashrama related books. Indeed many books were distributed during this time. A very exciting event was when we distributed hundreds of the Sri Surabhi mobile App’s pamphlets and visiting cards to the ISKCON leaders. Many people appreciated our new initiative to broadcast the importance of protecting Gau-mata. HH Bhakti Caru Swami Maharaj visited our stall and was very happy with our humble efforts and He gave some encouragement to fulfil this very specific mission of Srila Prabhupada.

IDVM-India thanks all the devotees who were involved and assisted in promoting our activities during the ILS-2018. Looking forward to the next opportunity where we can continue similar service to please Srila Prabhupada.
