This village is 3 km away from Bay Of Bengal Ocean.

People in the village received Sri Govinda Gau Grama Prachar Yatra Program very enthusiastically. Around 200 people attended the program, the special feature of this village is they have their localized governance. No one in the village seek to the police or court of law. Whatever decisions are to be made in the village decided by the village heads and all the villagers abide to it. We were told that if the village head is informed about the program, we can take it granted that the whole village is informed. And we saw this in reality.

People are very religious and there are two beautiful temples of Lord Sri Balaji and Lord Sri Rama. Many villagers participated in Nagar Sankirtnan and very reverently received their Lord ships Sri Sri Jagannath, Baldev and Subhadra.

Another special feature of this village that there are odnly Hindus in the village. And they don’t allow any other faiths to popup.
